Deleting your account and data
You can delete your Nook Analytics account entirely through self-service. No email required, no waiting.
How to delete your account
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete account.
- Confirm by typing your email address. This step prevents accidental deletion.
- Your account and all associated data are queued for deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your Nook user account and profile.
- All cached analytics data Nook stored for your connected properties.
- Dashboard configurations, saved views, and alert settings.
- Organization membership and team associations.
- Billing information (processed through Stripe; Stripe retains records per their policy).
What is NOT affected
- Your Google Analytics data. Nook only reads from GA4 and Search Console. Deleting your Nook account does not touch your Google data.
- Your website. Nook does not install any tracking code. There is nothing to remove.
- Your Google account permissions. Revoking Nook's access is a separate step. Visit your Google permissions page to remove it.
Export your data first
Before deleting, you can export individual reports as CSV files using the Export button in the top-right of any data table. You can also download a complete JSON export of all your account data from Settings > Account.
Timeline
Account deletion begins immediately. Your user record, connected sites, and analytics data are removed right away. Residual data in database backups is purged within 30 days. After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.
