How to connect Google Analytics to Nook
Nook reads from your existing Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console data. The setup takes about 30 seconds. You do not need to install any tracking code or modify your website.
Step-by-step
- Sign in to Nook. Go to nookanalytics.com/login and sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property.
- Grant read-only access. Google will ask you to approve permissions. Nook requests read-only access to Google Analytics and Search Console. We cannot modify your data.
- Select your properties. After signing in, you will see a list of GA4 properties and Search Console sites associated with your account. Select the ones you want to connect.
- Done. Nook begins importing your historical data immediately. Your dashboard will be ready within a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
What permissions does Nook need?
Nook requests read-only access to the Google Analytics Data API and the Google Search Console API. We can view your analytics data but we cannot change your GA4 configuration, delete data, or modify anything on your Google account.
Can I revoke access?
Yes, at any time. Visit your Google account permissions page and remove Nook Analytics. You can also disconnect individual properties from your Nook dashboard settings.
Do I need to be an admin on the GA4 property?
No. Any Google account with Viewer access (or higher) to the GA4 property can connect it to Nook.
What if I have multiple Google accounts?
Sign in with each account separately. Properties from all connected accounts appear in a single Nook dashboard.
